Meaning of "Zhongguo Jia You"

"Zhongguo jia you", written in Chinese characters as 中国加油, translates to "China, add oil", "Go for it, China", "Go China!" etc. It is a popular phrase used to offer encouragement, support and strength, often used and shouted during difficult times or sporting events to motivate the country.
